Tiny Ape Freestyle is the first 2.5” drone from Darwinfpv. In order to meet the needs of more friends and we have made multiple attempts. It comes with the Darwin ELRS2.0 F411 15A Bluejay AIO and the VTX006 which has 25-600mW output power.<\/p>\n

The AIO FC comes with ELRS_V1.0 pre-flashed. And we strongly advise everyone to stay on this version of the ELRS firmware until the BetaFlight 4.3 is officially released, as you may some bugs.<\/span><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

However, if you own a TX with a firmware ver. 2.x and wish to update the FC firmware, it can be done via BetaFlight V4.3.0 RC1-RC3.<\/span><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure you choose the right firmware, which is called \u2014 BETAFPVF4SX1280. After successfully flashing the flight controller with the latest officially released ELRS firmware, you need to flash the CLI and VTX configuration files. Flight Control(FC)<\/b>
This is an updated version of Darwin AIO. We integrated the ELRS receiver on the FC to make it easier to apply to mini drones. The ESC <\/p>\n

adopts Bluejay firmware, compatible with 1-3S Lipo input, 15A continuous current and 17A peak current. FC provides 2 sets of Uarts<\/p>\n

 interfaces, and also provides various external device interfaces such as SBUS, Softserial, CTR, BUZZ, RGB, etc., which perfectly solves the <\/p>\n

problem of insufficient number of F411 Uarts.<\/p>\n

The built-in receiver is an SPI protocol receiver, so you need to select SPI receiver support (SPI RX support) in the betaflight configurator. <\/p>\n

Under normal circumstances, the checkbox on the betaflight configurator receiver is empty. If the betaflight configurator used is 10.8.0 and above, the checkbox should select ‘EXPRESSLRS’. As shown below.<\/p>\n
